This year the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition took place on the 9th - 12th of January 2018. From the day we returned from our summer holidays in September, our teachers drove us to enter and participate in an effort to continue our reputation as a successful and participating school. A lot of good and interesting projects came out of our school this year including a study on the cost of traveling to school and if dogs were colourblind.
On the 11th of January, all of us who didn't qualify went with the first years to the RDS to look at the projects and get inspiration for next years competition. We left the school at half 8 and we arrived in Dublin at half 11. After deciding on a time to meet and head home, we were let wander and observe the projects. There was much to see and a lot to do. The time flew by and we then had to return home. Over the day I learned a lot of new information and facts that I didn't know before. The day was really interesting and really got me thinking for next year. |
